2023 the last photo adventures for Kookie n me

Waiting on the end of Kookie, supposed to take her for the last ride 6/24 but with her pain and bum leg she came n got in bed with me. 

Cancelad her appointment with the needle. 

She dosent go far but yesterday  when I left her out I couldnt find her, she hopped down to the car port trying to get in back of the truck.. so I worked on this video

Trying to get pain meds I took her to another vet today,, 136+ I think then when I went to walmart the woman asked me if I knew how much it was.. $512.. ugh couldnt do that then she did something and got it down to $102?  

I know her time is short, people tell me it's time to do the deed.

I drove the liberty was supposed to rain she sleeping but I pulled in the park n she was up and looking out the window.
When I got home unloading stuff she just laid on the ground but when I came back she was out at the carport,wanting a jeep ride.

In younger days.. 70s I stopped in this bar to get a couple beers to go. Never drank em just thinking I might know someone.. but.

Instad of going to the park, I have just been taking Kookie down to the bar and turning around .

I'll follow the sun, kind of the theme of my happy life in those years, now mostly a shrinking sun filtering through the trees.

Gotta go back to the doc tomorrow, things r getting hard to keep track of my own meds n things to do.

Last chapter, two more pages

The only booger for this day, I suppose stopping at the store to get milk for Kookie, I parked under shade until I got out and a woman told me I couldn't park in the grass. I told her to call the cops.

This day, I have no spunk to have conflicts.

When I was a young man in the 60s in Canton Ohio, my land lady noticed a woman walking on the sidewalk and told me she was going to Wisman's funeral home. She didn't know anyone there she just wanted to be around others .. hmmm 
Going to Mt Pleasant is kind of like going to a movie with all their happy thoughts n friends n puppies ... a happy place.

I mentioned before Kookie had the couch destroyed and I wanted to get another before she was lost so we could sit on it and the springs wouldnt poke me sitting down. Got a free one.

Gonna have a visitor I have not seen for years and will never see again, I wanted to clean some of the mud and stink off her.. besides that another reason

Swimming pool leak in one end so I put it on an incline .. with the rain too, kind of got her cleaned up a bit

The other couch was so big we had to take the window out to get it in.. just me now I used the chain saw to cut the back down and wire cutters for the springs

I tragged it out in the drive way and set it on fire in the pouring rain.

Kookie on the 'new couch' she got on with me later and I wished I had the camera set up.. but

They had it set to meet at 9:oo this morning, they stopped at Mc D's to get some picnic stuff.

Getting that done I got some bd n fathers day money n card.

I said when the time came Kookie did not get all excited and bark on the way to town, the hand on the clock would point the time. Today she just laid a bit happy for a couple minutes then falls to the ground not getting up.

Knowing it is getting close I saw a woman with her little dog n asked for her to hold em up for Kooke to check out.

We got someone to take out pics together with Kookie in the Jeep.

Guess I won't mention what one of the pics is about 😟

I pulled in the yard when we got home to take stuff out n Kookie too but she wouldnt move so I got the tripod to do one more of us and the Jeep.

Seeing so many people getting prayers for a loved one .. and me thinking my prayer would be when I woke up, Kookie would have died in her sleep.. instead of me having it done.

Friday is my bd, didn't wanna that be the day.. supposed to rain too.. if nothing changes Saturday at noon will be her last.

I won't sleep, worry n wait maybe take her to the park early in case someone will rub her ear ..

Stopped at the park after Krogers but Kookie didnt get any pets, in bad shape now.. 

was gonna but she is  pretty sorry now :( 

Laying in the mud n stinky but I didn't wanna add to her misery.

I haven't been coming up because Kookie has a bum leg and I will reach my goal to making it to my bd in less than two weeks.

Telephoto photos long distance with atmospheric conditions r not sharp but I work on some a bit.

After doing some telephotos I drove over to the park n Mick pulled in with her side kick.

I suppose the one I have taken the most pics of and talked to .. well typed on fb the mostest. Before I ever encountered I first saw a pic of her hanging on the rail on mt P.

 In the open sun, super squint On bright sunny days, light filtering through the trees gives lepord spots tried it with their phone but not bright enough, here it is evened out better, I liked another pose bestus.. I suppose when I keep goofing off with settings, my victims wonder what the crazy guy is doing..

Kookie left her in the truck, anyway, if they find it bet they will keep this pic Back by the pond no jumping or climbing needed, Kookie can just walk right in.. she snoozed her this morning while I went up to get some gps positions

Just trying to capture gps pics yesterday no sharp ones but they contained the meta data needed
When I take them from the ground it just gives the position I was when I took the pic.
I need to setup on the tripod in the fairgrounds then have someone on top with my gps camera go from pole to pole, taking pics of the pole then where the camera will capture them

There r places where bushes or trees are in front of the rail
When I imported the pic in the map, no need to figure out the right spot, Google reads the meta data.
While Google gives street names, we can map out Mt Pleasant :)

Cluttered now but it can be be fixed

Tajubg oucs ti get tgeur gps positions

With out my sidekick Kookie to help, I am doing pics for a map.

The idea of making a trip and taking pics from different spots with gps, then set the tripod up in the fairgrounds with some chipmunks in shape.. in those spots. I think I can make layers.
Areas I can't see from the ground, but drones do videos, maybe if I can get a drone pilot to take high resolution still pics on some sunny day :)

The later pic were a bit better, there were so many shadowsn trying to catch em between moving around.. but Kookie was with me another day :)

Gonna try to bring Kookie out n take some telephoto pics

Experimenting with Google Maps you can make your own Figuring it out, it is not what it can be.

 You can add pins on your favorite spots, then write comments and add photos.. 

When I can make it with out Kookie I will go to each location with gps added to the meta data of each pic.. then the pins will be in the right place

5/24 Had to to to the pills at walmart then cvs... almost goofed off too long, got there just in time before they closed.
I bought some cookies for Kookie, me and the ducks but Kookie didnt like em, the ducks were not there n I took them out of the sack and left them there figured birds or other critters might get em .. threw the sack in the can.

It was hazey so pics could have been a tad better.. taking em at random but tried to cluster them together here.

Going through the pill store drive thru I saw this bumper sticker and a fuzzy reflection in the mirror so I enhanced it a bit.

I have been taking pics from the fairgrounds then driving over to the bottom of the trail in case I saw people I had taken pics of and give em the link to the pics. But last night was great. 

These guys came by n the girl knew who Kookie was. So many have pics taken on mt p with the city in the background but I like to capture some pics with pics of Mt P.

It was hazy and I knew better but I was there. Went to get a perscription but they were close.

They were tearing down the rides so I didnt stay just to get a few then I moved over by broad street to setup

Fuzzy pictures being great art 😎

When trying to capture people I like no harsh sun, no squinting, good color saturation and sharp with great detail.. but thinking ... 

I forgot to post this pic last night then looked for it.. gone delete from my camera.. ugh then I found it in the recycle bin.

At a distance the atmospher fuzzes pics a bit, if the sky is with out clouds, if the camera is on the tripod, if they are very small and I enlarge them on the computer like this one (me as 'the great artist 😔 )

Next one with out me but what makes a pic worthy of being captured. I would guess if these guys found this pic they would love it.

You will see people taking pics of themselves standing on high places.. aren't we cool .. these are dramatic photos indeed. (I am in such pics myself)

Thinking what is considered to be great art.. a whole bunch of it is just who painted it. If a junior high kid drew a pic and someone could make people think  Rembrand painted it, it would be sold for millions.

Before cameras existed they could and did paint very detailed paintings but there were those not intended to represent the scene or persons as they actually were.

These paintings or photos are created to capture humor, daring, love, tragedy .. endearing images that give fuzzy feelings ( I think Norman Rockwell was a master of that)

One of my favorite captures with the teley was a couple of kids sitting on the edge for a long time, just sitting there holding each other. Between then I had drove over .. me n Kookie up the trail taking pics for a while .. then on the way on high street I saw them walking home holding hands.
I guess images produced or captured (viewed by those not present or connected any way) that evoke emotions must be the defination of art. 

Took the 600 into the fairgrounds not the best day the haze blocked the clear sky n less detail but...

I did not post all of em too many if I missed u let me know and I will post some to the teley album

Telephoto pics

On Instagram someone asked if I had taken any pics of them on Mt P so it is easier to post responses in the blog . 

My telephoto pics.. being rip van winkel 

I only kind of know a few people n take a few candid's but only once did I have a fb pal there with the intentions of doing teley pics 

Then I could use the cell phone to communicate about taking pics. 

A few times I hear people yelling but don't know what they are saying. 

From this distance I can't make out who anyone is until I get home and zoom in with my software. 

One 'trick' I use is making the camera flash.. at 15' flash has NO effect on a pic but when people see it, they think that guy is taking pics up here :)

Things I want to tell people but would not likely take it in.. who is this stranger telling us this stuff :)

Afternoons r best with a clear sky.. so if you see us in the parking lot at the fairgrounds.. sometimes we drive over and sit by the trail up to get Kookie some pets.

Sunset pics.. try this.. as the bottom of the sun is close to touching the earth have someone take your pic or with a pal.

As the sun is behind your head, your photographer going for a waist up pic.. photographer about 7' away USE FLASH, then have em take a step forward n do another until the lighting is just right.
After the sun goes down, IF the sky is right at twilight the sky will have a streak of beautiful horizontal colors.. then is when I like it the bestus.

OH yeah .. if you want a good pic just ask a stranger, bet they will be happy to take some.. do 5 or more AND when you see a couple or a person with a dog, ask em if they would like to have their pic taken with their camera..

Knowing the family for a few years I wanted to get pics of her daughter but never did until this year doing telephoto pics .. didn't know it was her 😋

If you drive by when I am in the fairgrounds come back and tell me u r gonna be on top.. bright colors appear the best.

A super nice day for a Jeep ride.. guess those who know me a bit is aware that Kookie has a short time.. but doing good so far.
Today the 9th I did a video of her hopping along in the morning but when she got n the truck, a monster again

The best pics I captured was in the fairground when this boy, mom n dog came by n visited.. Mt Pleasant n the background. Hiding his eyes from the sun.. dark but fill in flash brought it out.. n they like Kookie 😊

Because Kookie's leg I havent been going on top, but after today I think she could, seems to be lots better now but not much chance. After doing pics from the fairgrounds I went over and sat on the path to see who I could tell when they came down.. felt like a troll 😏
