Knowing it to be one of the last good days for a few I took Kookie for a ride to get pins for the big yellow wagon and stopped at the park.. just went over and sat on the bench thinking Kookie might get some pets .. no one came by but just as soon as I got her in the Jeep one of our facebook pals came over just to see her. N Kookie squirmed on the edge of the side to be pals.. that doggy loves people.

No telephoto lens, no tripod just sitting on the bench waiting for victims to pet Kookie n captured a few grainy candid shots, 3 boys on electric scooters, two girls n their pups n looked two kids goofing off around the pond.

No reason to go to town for a few days unless they finish Kookies truck 😋

When my other pup got this a very good friend bought us a big yellow wagon and I got to pull PuppyDog around Ash cave to get lots of pets. Things are getting tougher for me now.

At OSU in their trials Kookie's front leg would have been taken off and it is so hard for me to help her now, When she is riding in back starting off she is barking and so happy.. later she gets super tired but it is a time for pets and fun for her.

There are lots of carts for back legs and little dogs but few for front legs and very few for big dogs.

FOR PUPS WITH BAD LEGS

Seeing these kids in the park with electric scooters I thought wonder if someone could modify an electric hover board .. some are all terrain

Those I have seen consists of rods and straps around the body. The blue here would be a molded piece of fiberglass for pups. With laser measuring or body molding methods it could be a perfect fit.

The hover craft would not need to go 12 miles an hour 😏but pup speed.

Purple bottom wheel, dont know if it would be needed but a stablizing wheel. 

.. oh yeah a remote 

Some of those dog carts are hundreds, even a couple thousand dollars. A hover board n parts less than $500 I am guessing then the hover board could be used by others.

I do know some guys in fab and machine shops.. or maybe the fairfield training school.. not saying make one of these but play with designs on how you could make one that would work.

When I came to put Kookie's plates on the truck I stayed a while thinking someone might come by n give Kookie some  pets. I took this reflection candid n never got around to telling em. Kookie not too mobile.
With the fun thought in years from now these guys will find this pic n be tickled.. yep I figure Google images will be here for a while.

Now Kookie won't eat most of her stuff. This is the couch she destroyed.. too big to get out of the house in one piece.

She hates her pills, 3 at a time n me sticking my fingers down her slimy throat not easy so I got hot dogs, put a hole in the end with a screw driver n poked the pills in, working so far.

I have imagined ways to help her get around.. an electric skate board with remote control.. wondered if the park had a utility cart that might take a pup to the top.. but if they did, couldnt everyone would say why not me.

Tried to find a close parking spot close to the trail but didnt then I spoted this.. thining hmmm someone left this to push Kookie to the top.. fun thought but she would be too big n I couldn't push her..

I would spend $$$ to have a custom cart made for her... but her clock is running down.

Not intending to take pic.. but to get the pills n just took the 300mm. I am too whimpy to hand hold it so it does not shake but got a few fuzzy pics.. when two of em came down I was gonna tell em but they started talking to another park dweller. Luke can tell em.

.I saw a couple on the far side n took this one, but they r unlikely to find it.

Didn't sit on the big rock chair but back by a tree.. thinking of someone who might give Kookie some pets. She wimpered as other pups passed by n I thought no one would pay any attention to her.. disappointed n then a couple kids came over n asked if they could give her some pets.. made me n Kookie's day.

I wonder who will be the last to make over her. Was gonna take their pics.. boy n girl thinking 11/12 but didn't n saw em again later when I went back to the fairgrounds.

Hmmm I knew these guys :)

I paid to have the Kookie plates transfered to the Toyota and put the PuppyDog plates on the wrangler.

As for the Buddy W plates, guess time for em to vanish plates of little value n the time to come .. less they go on a wall 😋

Taking the Toy in the shop today but first some fixing needed n Kookie rested until the guy came then she was her regular monster self.

Out of bed this is the real me, did nothing with the hair .. the way I am in life but after dropping the Toy off, stopped at Mc donalds an excuse for a picnic in the park thinking just wait till someone comes by n talking em into being our photographer.. hmmm n a girl came by who knew us.

And a couple other kids who knew me n Kookie stopped by said I had taken their pic b4. Glad the picnic idea popped up.

In case the Toyota takes a while to get fixed, I wanted to take Kookie out today n do the swap.

I got a pretty good shot of this guy with the big telephoto. The others not as good.

When PuppyDog was on her way out I got plates with her name n put it on an old truck (she never saw the red truck) but she saw the wrangler n took many rides in it.. so Kookie has a short time, this is HER truck, so I transfered the plates to swap tags. Didn;t know how to get a decent pic but waited till some nice girls came by n asked em

Some how I lost one of the plates, but the ritual is done. Kookie was bonked out this morning, thought she was gone but found some magic dust n tried it, worked ok but she didnt move much and when we got home she headed for the basement.. hard for her to walk now ... loaded her up with pain pills hope she snores till morning.

Kookie had a hard time getting up, couldnt get her to eat much n she just stays in one spot .

When PuppyDog (previous pup) had a short time I got plates with her name on it .. put em on the truck but she was the one with me when I bought the jeeps. 

Hope I can get in, today I am going to the dmv to swap plates Kookies plates belong on the toy she was the first n only pup to hop up in it... if I can get her in back... 

 For a long time she went over to the mirror and looked at herself .. did a video clip too. 

Before I lost PuppyDog I bought plates with her name on the Ford Ranger.

 She was not here when I put her plates on the Toyota. soon to be put on the Wrangler.

Kookie has a short time so today I transferred her plates to the 

Toyota n PuppyDogs plates to the wrangler.

 Tried to put the harness on her but she is too big ... used plastic zip ties to extend it a bit.

After I got some electric stuff n  goodies we went to the park for a short picnic, backed the truck up at the spot where she could just walk across n not jump. 

If things r ok, guess It would be a decent day for the plate exchange ceremony, I guess I should swap em at the park with her there Doing it on top would be great but .. know better 😉

Yesterday I thought what I might do to make sure Kookie had an ok time on this trip to Mt P 

I gathered up sun glasses I had left from last summer when I gave em to people when the sun was harsh.

I thought how to take a bd cake on top and would I get too much, how messy might it be, so I stopped at the bank and got some two dollar bills, thinking if anyone gave her pets I would give em a piece of her 'cake' $2 .. symbolic , none of the regular gang was there but I did give a couple $2 bills to those who gave her some pets, forgot the girls who took pics for us.

I thought about recording the serial numbers and the first name of who ever got a 'piece of Kookie's cake.'

Thought there might be a thunder storm but it turned out ok.

I did have one guest to the doings n we got a couple pics. I forgot to give those girls a $2 bill.

I thought someone might bring some mt p badges a long time ago but missed her.. Won't matter much now dont figure I will visit much.

These guys said they left their phones in their car so I did this one and the girl came bopping by n I talked to her about photography stuff.

The little girl n back gave Kookie some pets n I gave her one.

This guy gave her some attention n he got one.

When we got home she bonked out outside when I went back she was laying by the door in the leaves.  I would guess I have hair of all my pups in every place in the house.

You would not know anything is wrong with her .. make it to the fireflies come out, to my bd in June.. hmmm just rubbing on an empty magic lamp I figure.

Finally got the top off the Jeep for the season.. wanted Kookie to get some rides 

Things getting harder as the earth orbits the sun, wish I had the kid come out n help me. Wont take the doors off this year, too hard to put back on by myself .. 

April 10th first time I drove the Jeep this year, less than 15.000 miles, bought it in 2014 Oct? Well it is gonna be sunny today and this will be the first time we get to take a ride with the top off 

At least one more trip on Saturday .. if there is no rain #risingpark.

The plan, wash the jeep, get some stuff, come home n take the top off the jeep for the season but on the way back saw em on top tempted me so then just get a couple pets for Kookie then do it..

Once I got there I was drawn to the top n encountered a couple fb pals and some I had taken pics of b4

B4 going down I spotted a couple doing selfies n asked em n they were so happy said they wished to get a great pic ...

I thought I got a drab sky in this one but it was the same with theirs. When I can see I move the exposure comp to the negative that brings the sky out then fill in flash brings out the eyes. I keep forgetting stuff and minutes after it is too late I think of good shots I wished I had taken.. but 🤓

I did get to take some pics of others with their cameras but with out my glasses I can't see what I did.. but they must be great 😋

I had another pup arrive in a crate and brought em to Mt Pleasant to get pics with Kookie. I put Kookie's last licenses on the colar and the little bell that was on her collar when she was little.

Kookie really liked the pup.. not kidding .

Today was mostly about capturing pics with Kookie while there is time but I did get to capture pics of others with their cameras .

Took her to Mc Donalds n bought her a hamburger and ice cream cone :)

Her birthday is April 15th but she is limping now and I can't pull her up in the wagon. fingers crossed she will make it. 

This is not just a stuffed toy. I first saw the makers of these on a collectors program https://www.merrythought.co.uk/ . More later maybe 

I put the bell and Kookie's latest tag on the collar on Mt P.

When I think of some pic idea, it is good to have a victim ready .. with Luke the sky rider 😎

Things getting a bit tough don't figure there will be a page for each month in 2023 but when it is nice n Kookie can keep hopping along there will be pics to take.

Guess I will start at the end of our day instead of the beginning.

I have been bumed out and after leaving Mt P, thinking I should stock up, sometimes they don't have my stuff. About a month ago someone stole my credit card number n used it so havent been carrying it but had some dollars.

I got in trouble when I saw $15 on hamburger n bought 4 of em.
When I went to check out, ugh not enough money and the kroger kid was super nice helping me downsize, so I gave em back one of them n leaving another nice guy told the clerk he would pay for it, feeling goofy n greatful I just wondered out with the stuff, never thought about asking the guy's name till I got to the truck.. n a kroger girl came out n I told her to ask n she gave Kookie some pets.

Anyway if you hear such a story, I will pay the money back n thank the cool guy who flipped out his credit card.

Didn't exercise so I took Kookie out n took a long time going up the trail.. thinking I usually tug her along but the trip is for her letting her smell every thing along the way up.

When I get on top early I always spot some one thinking good shot but when the sky is still bright coming into the lens . I should wait dont let em get away from the capture machine

Saw a super cute girl n held off a bit till she went out n sat on the rock n asked her for a couple pics.. n she told me I had taken her pic b4 n knew Kookie's name. Super nice n talked to me a bit.. Made the trip worth it another good day for me n Kookie.#risingpark
